British Columbia’s latest draw through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has resulted in the issuance of over 80 invitations.

Conducted on April 16, this draw encompassed five distinct categories.

A general draw accounted for the majority of invitations, with 39 candidates selected across five BC PNP streams tailored for skilled workers and international graduates. The eligibility thresholds varied, with minimum scores ranging from 107 to 132 points.

In a targeted effort, 12 invitations were extended to skilled workers and international graduates who scored at least 92 points, specifically targeting childcare workers.

Ten invitations were allocated to construction workers meeting a minimum score of 97 points.

Healthcare professionals were the focus of another draw, which granted 18 invitations to skilled workers and international graduates, requiring a minimum score of 97 points.

Additionally, a draw aimed at veterinary care workers resulted in ‘less than 5’ invitations being issued, with a minimum score of 80. This vague figure was intentionally provided to safeguard the privacy of those invited.
