Hot on the heels of its biggest-ever Express Entry draw in the first week of September, Alberta immigration went out and issued invitations to 835 candidates in two draws in the following two weeks.

Alberta immigration then issued another 450 invitations with the same minimum CRS score the next week, on Sept. 21.

That brings the total number of invitations to candidates under that program in Alberta to a whopping 1,335 in September, or more than 7.1 per cent more than the 1,246 invitations issued in August and roughly three times as many as the 329 invitations issued in July.

Since the start of this year, the number of invitations to candidates under the AINP has steadily climbed from a low of 150 in February to 1,335 in September.
